Q - How much should I expect to pay?
A - One or two checks are generally expected for a one year contract. There is approximately AED 5,000 security deposit to be paid to the landlord & you can expect to pay a 5% deposit to the agent.

Q - How long is the tenancy agreement?
A - Long and short term rents are available
Q - What services are included in my rent?
A - The landlord is generally responsible for any service/maintenance charges. Always speak to your agent & check your contract as this could slightly differ.
Q - How often do I have to pay rent?
A - Depends on the Landlord – your agent can advise how many checks are required.
Q - Is there a standard tenancy agreement?
A - Yes, some of the observations may differ be sure to read the small print.
Q - How much notice to I have to give?
A - Generally one to two months is required
Q - What happens if something needs replacing/repairing in the property?
A - The landlord will be responsible for general wear & tear of the property. The tenant will be responsible for any breakages.
Q - When can I move in and what payments are required?
A - As soon as your tenancy agreement has been signed and monies have been received by the landlord, you will need to contact DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) If you are moving into a villa AED 2,000 refundable deposit is required AED 1,000 for an apartment.
